The Study Program
in a Nutshell

Cloud computing has changed the job profile of software developers and system administrators, as well as the requirements for their skills and competencies. In order to meet the new requirements, this study program was developed in cooperation with CGI.
As a symbiosis of "software development as a craft" and the new software paradigm "cloud native", the program teaches you modern software development methods and future-oriented cloud architectures as well as important soft skills, customer centricity and lean software development in a hybrid form.
A balanced concept of classroom and online teaching enables you to interact personally and network with high time efficiency.
The program is held in the beautiful Salamander area in Kornwestheim.

Ranking and Awards

The Faculty of Computer Science is one of the best computer science faculties in the country. In the current university ranking published by Wirtschaftswoche, the faculty is ranked first in Baden-Württemberg and third nationwide among the best business informatics departments at German universities of applied sciences.
